Visit to the Oil Mill, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Wine Tasting
A complete sensory experience combining
extra virgin olive oil, local cuisine and wine.
The visit begins with a
guided tour of the
Intini olive oil mill, where guests will discover the innovative production, filtration, and preservation processes behind the Intini family's award-winning extra virgin olive oils.
This is followed by a
guided tasting of two extra virgin olive oils, both produced exclusively with Apulian olives, highlighting their distinct aromas and flavors and introducing guests to the region, biodiversity, and the history of the Intini family.
The experience continues with a
tasting of typical Apulian products, specially prepared using Intini extra virgin olive oil and high-quality local ingredients.
The selection includes taralli, friselle and intorchiate, accompanied by seasonal Apulian specialties such as seasonal vegetables and preserves, dairy products (lactose-free options available upon request), cured meats, and other seasonally inspired local products.
The tour concludes with a
tasting of Intini wines, produced in small quantities from the family vineyards in the Itria Valley—a winemaking tradition revived in 2021 by Pietro Intini, a passionate wine sommelier as well as a professional taster and head of the Sensory Analysis Panel for Virgin Olive Oils.
